Myah

A while back I puppy sat Myah, a blue nose pitbull, for my brother-in-law and his girlfriend.  Of course I had to snap a few photos of her.  This was before we got Oscar and she definitely gave me puppy fever (we went and got Oscar the following week!)

Since taking these photos she's pretty much doubled in size, so I thought it was about time I posted them! 

Introducing Oscar...

the newest member of our family and my little buddy!  He's a 4 month old beagle/ dachshund mix (which our friend coined a weegle and I love the name) and we adopted him from a rescue last Wednesday.  He's such a good boy!

The Fantastic Umbrella Factory

The Fantastic Umbrella Factory in Charlestown, RI is quite the unique place.  Little shops and a cafe tucked into pathways covered in winding vines and bright flowers.  It has a super bohemian, hippie vibe, especially when you walk into one of the little shops and incense is burning. Chickens and ducks roam around the property and there are even emus and goats!  They host large greenhouses filled with interesting plants, like some of my favorites- pitcher plants and passion flowers.  It's a fun, off the beaten path, kind of place to visit even if you aren't in the market for incense or flowers.

This past weekend finally had some gorgeous weather.  We've been getting rain and thunderstorms non-stop (or so it seems) so my dogs were itching to get outside and play a bit.  I, of course, had to take a few photos of their extreme cuteness (maybe I'm a little biased!)

Those Eyes!

With those eyes honey, you can get whatever you want.  My dog Sydney has the perfect "Please throw the ball" look that I just cannot resist.
