Cameras and cute bags

In February I'll have had my baby (aka my Canon 5D Mk II) as well as my other baby (24-70mm f/2.8)  for a whole year.  While I still love my Canon 30D and use it from time to time, it has definitely been replaced by this big fella.  I would say the majority of my shooting is done with this camera/ lens combo.  I have nothing bad to say about either piece of equipment and they serve me well.  Well, maybe one complaint, it gets a bit heavy when shooting a wedding for 8 hours straight, especially with the 30D swung on the other side of me.  But really, that's my only complaint and it's a manageable one (unless one has the arms of a 5 year old girl).

Perhaps one day I'll take a photo of my expanding equipment family, which of course will have to be done with a point and shoot.  I still have a long wish list of equipment I'd like, so perhaps I should start selling organs on the black market or something of that nature in order to buy all of it right away!  Okay, so that's a bad idea, but hey, gotta think of all my options right?

For my birthday this past week, my fiance gave me the most awesome camera bag.  Perfect for smaller shoots or going out while still wanting to bring my good camera.  I'll post some pictures of it once I load it up with equipment.  It's hard finding cute, girly camera bags and I absolutely love this one.  It's made by Jo Totes, who cater to female photographers like myself who wish to embrace their girly side while still toting around their big, crazy cameras.  It's not overly expensive for a camera bag, but is still well made and sturdy and in fact, I like it more than the $200 bags I've seen!  Plus, there are lots of nice little pockets to put other things like a small wallet, phone, lip gloss, and other things us girls throw in our bags.

Time to get back to editing!
