Myah

A while back I puppy sat Myah, a blue nose pitbull, for my brother-in-law and his girlfriend.  Of course I had to snap a few photos of her.  This was before we got Oscar and she definitely gave me puppy fever (we went and got Oscar the following week!)

Since taking these photos she's pretty much doubled in size, so I thought it was about time I posted them! 

Introducing Oscar...

the newest member of our family and my little buddy!  He's a 4 month old beagle/ dachshund mix (which our friend coined a weegle and I love the name) and we adopted him from a rescue last Wednesday.  He's such a good boy!

A lazy winter day with the dogs

My two dogs love the snow, and since we had our first real snow of the winter Joey and I went outside for a bit.  Unfortunately my other dog, Sydney, is still recovering from knee surgery and isn't allowed to run around, forcing her to stay inside.  Joey usually stays outside much longer than he did today, probably because most of the time he's playing with Sydney.  So, we came inside after a short time and Joey lounged around on the back of the couch (one of his favorite spots, I swear he's part cat) with his beloved Bobo while I baked some goodies.  

Sydney has been resting the past few months due to knee surgery and this is the first tennis ball she's gotten since then.  She ended up finding the ball in the backyard and will not let it go since she found it!
